Air Jordan Store in NYC "Flight 23"
New York City (specifically Manhattan 34th street, between 7th and 8th Avenue) is getting a Jordan brand only store, sooner than later it seems. More updates will come out in the following weeks. For right now, the soon to be store front is using the Air Jordan elephant print shoe box as its construction barrier. As a designer I think this idea is amazin' as all sneaker heads immediately recognize this motif... but this leaves a lot of questions in the minds of sneaker heads across the country.
How will NIKE and Jordan facilitate opening day?
Will there be a selection process for opening day?
What will the shelves look like on opening day?
Exactly which Jordans will be available here on a regular basis? All? Retros? Team Jordans?
Will camping be allowed?
I guess we will just have to see no word on when the store will be completed yet, I'm hoping for a Fall/Winter 2014-15 opening, would be crazy for the holiday releases. We wil see what Nike/Jordan come up with....Opening day will be insane.

The first release from FLEX Clothing's "Novus Ordo Seclorum" collection is a 100% Cotton, Light Gray, Crew-neck sweatshirt, appropriately named "USA 2013".
This sweatshirt boast a message that can't be more relavent today reading..."America is a business". Designed by FLEX Clothing's Michael Sierra:
"The idea for this shirt came from the realization that, the United States of America has never seen its people as a "society" but as a "market". This shirt was designed before the government shutdown, before registration for The Affordable Healthcare Act, before workers were furloughed, but all of those current events, is what drives the thought behind this piece. America is a business not a country".
